Director's Message
Welcome to LHS as we proudly present Shrek the Musical! Shrek was last seen on the LHS stage back in 2013. It is back by popular demand! We hope you enjoy the show. Come alongside us as we venture into the swamp and follow the story of Shrek the Ogre and Princess Fiona. I have had a ball working with this fun, talented, committed, and thoughtful group of students. I am so proud of the fact that we have 98 students participating in the musical this year between cast, crew, and pit. They have worked hard and put in numerous hours on and off the stage to make this show a success. It’s fun to be a part of the process and watch the development of the show take place. I would like to thank ALL of the many people and hands that have helped to make this production successful. A special thanks to Emily Wolfgang, Michelle McKaig, Wade Thatcher and the Tech Crew, Mike and Ramona Smith, Jacob Kessler and the Pit Band, Andy Wolfgang, Randy Gustavson, Brandy Moss and the Makeup Team, Kelley Johnson, Amanda Hale, Aaron Acton, the Set Crew, and the Stage Crew. Thank you also to my family for encouraging me in my passion for the performing arts. Most importantly to God…may He receive the glory for all of this talent.
